Patios

Gable Patio designs are a crowd favourite. Gable roof patios are endowed with an open feel that will enrich your home and outdoor area. The pitched roof of a gable patio complements traditional house roofs and adds a sense of spaciousness to covered areas.

Custom Gable Patio Designs

Our custom gable designs incorporate various truss patterns including heritage style web designs or a more contemporary cranked beam or top rafter set only. Gable patio designs are available with hip ends, pyramid style gazebos, attached or freestanding, with Colorbond roof sheeting or insulated roof panels. The option to infill gable ends with translucent polycarbonate provides additional weatherproofing without compromising light transmission.

Stratco Outback Gable Patios

The Stratco Outback Gable exhibits a strong presence and style, with the pitched roof that can be used as a carport, pergola, veranda or patio.

Outback gables are well known for their uncluttered ceiling appearance. Outback gables feature impressive open spans, minimal framework and no welded trusses. The pre painted, high gloss Colorbond steel sheeting ensures the steel substrate is uncompromised for a longer design life.

Stratco Patios

Stratco Outback

The single span Outback sheets offer an extraordinary visual appearance with no purlins from ridge to gutter. Outback gables are available in a variety of designs; from the heritage style ‘traditional’ carports and Dutch gable to the more modern and contemporary style ‘clearspan gables’. Stratco Cooldek panels offer impressive thermal properties and enhance the visual impact of a pitched roof design.

Enhance your lifestyle with a Stratco Gable Patio, veranda or carport from Abel Patios.

Available as a freestanding unit or attached to your home, the Stratco Outback Gable can be combined with flat roof or with pergola sections with the prominent pitched roof becoming the main feature of the design.

The gable is available in our Multispan or Clearspan design.

Multispan Gable Patio

Offering a range of roof cladding materials, the Outback Multispan Gable features purlins that are placed over the rafters in the roof. This supports the cladding, which can be the classic corrugated steel, light and airy polycarbonate, or smooth Outback Deck.

Clearspan Gable Patio

Using only the Outback Deck, the Outback Clearspan Gable uses a self supporting roof sheet that does not need extra purlins to support it. This leaves the roof area clean and uncluttered. With a 22 degree pitch, the Clearspan Gable can span an impressive 7.5 metres wide. See more images in our Gallery.

Testimonials

I initially engaged Abel to install a new back patio, but after being so impressed with their service, I had them install a carport & front veranda. From the lovely ladies in the office to the installers & everyone I dealt with in between, these guys go out of their way to ensure the customer is satisfied, & the build is finished to a quality standard. I highly recommend Abel, & if I had any more roof space to attach something else I would definitely get Abel in to do the job. Cheers Abel team.

Abel Patios are a delight to deal with. They are highly professional and reasonably priced, consulting you on your project every step of the way and always responding promptly when contacted. They were recommended to me by a trusted friend, and I highly recommend them to anyone seeking quality workmanship from a professional company with integrity.

Abel Patios have just built a new carport at my place and, given their prompt, friendly efficient service, I’d thoroughly recommend them. From the first contact with their clear-speaking informative receptionist to the salesman and the two beauties who erected the frame + the two roofers as well as the chaps who checked progress, they were wonderful! Please note, Abel got the job after I’d spoken with 3 other companies who gave me the impression that they were overworked and worn out, which sapped my confidence in their ability to build a carport to my satisfaction. All communication with Abel was the very opposite, certainly made me feel like a valued customer right the way down the line. Excellent mob and excellent job!

Also, the consideration your team extended to myself in work ethic and in cleaning up. Much appreciation and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking to install a patio.

The guys who came to remove the roof and replace it were very professional and experienced. Nothing was too much trouble and the quality of the work was exceptional. Lyndon O’Keefe the owner was on site regularly, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Able Patio’s. I’m very pleased with the outcome and experience.

Chevron Down

Gable patios comprise of triangular trusses at each end of the patio.
